Came across this on twitter... not sure if it's real of fake, but it's certainly... um... interesting
Who decided to slaughter elephants in the recording room?
Yes, this is real.
I see an opportunity for a new sample library. It only needs a catchy name.

A Library of sounds that have never attempted to be recorded before now....
HAHAHAHahahahahahaha!---Laughed out loud so hard over here I was in danger of wetting myself. THANks for the belly laughs, Sean!
That was my elementary band playing "Also Sprach Zarathustra". Have a little sympathy.

I don't understand what all the laughs are about. I thought they were rather good, actually. Now excuse me while I go and remove the macaroni cheese from my ears.
Fantastic! I've seen this before. What dynamic expression and rich timbre. Imagine the excitement of hearing such an unpredictable performance live-- it would keep you on your toes. I like the time-varying cluster chords--a nice dissonant touch that goes with the thumping bass drum.
One of my profs (Andrew Schloss , a music professor/computer engineer who plays Bell Labs experimental instrument called the Radiodrum) may enjoy this sort of thing as he's interested in odd sound textures (then again he may just think that it's an un-inspired abomination).
"If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away." – Henry Thoreau
If that was real, the music teacher should be fired for dragging the students through such a bad musical experience.
