Nigel, I can't speak for Joe, but if you go here:
http://www.samplelogic.com/cinematicguitars.html
the price is shown as $399, and appears to be the same for both versions, which is not unusual anymore. With a download, you save shipping, taxes, duty, brokerage fees etc., so even if the download price isn't different than the boxed item, one can normally save a lot of money by downloading......frank

Hi Guys
Great news!
Just posted up a new demo track and "Dissecting the Interface" video.
check it out at:
www.samplelogic.com/cinematicguitars.html
The demo track is by film and game composer Bill Brown. It really shows the power of Cinematic Guitars.
In the video, I show how Multis are layered for easy performance, and do a live jam session that transforms a pristine acoustic guitar into all sorts of different cool sounds just by tweaking the interface. Really check out the video because it shows how easy and useful the interface truly is.
We are working to bring you several additional demo tracks and videos, so stay tuned.
Damn you Joe. That forced me to pre-order. And damn you Time & Space for picking up the phone when I called.
Grrrrr!

Wow! Yes, okay, that's very impressive and I'm sold.Any reason though to order well in advance? I don't see any special offers or incentives to pay now and then wait. Am I missing something there?...........frank

Hi Frank,
By pre-ordering your copy now you will receive free shipping and will be amongst the first to create and manipulate.

Hi Joe,
would you give us an answer on this please? Obviously price structure is the developers' own choice, but generally in the sample market there is some kind of price advantage when buying download formats as packaging & warehouse/staff costs are eliminated.
It looks like a really nice library! Your "dissecting the interface" demo is impressive.
Thx
Nigel
FIrst off,
Thanks everyone for the kind words
To answer your question Nigel,
The direct download will be at the same price point (minus shipping). The boxed version, if you pre-order, comes with free shipping and will ship out on September 15th. The direct download will not be available until September 22nd. So the boxed version is pretty much the same cost if you pre-order as the direct download version will be. Once September 15th rolls around, shipping will not be free for boxed versions. If you pre-order the boxed version now, you will get the free shipping and pay the same amount as the direct download and probably will receive your boxed copy in a day or 2 before the direct download is even available.
If you want this ASAP pre-ordering the boxed version is probably the better option.
Or,
If your not in the US and feel the free international shipping will take longer then September 22nd if it ships out on September 15th then the direct download may be the better option for you.
hope my long answer cleared things up a bit![]()
