Re: Sample Logic announces Cinematic Guitars

Thanks, Joe, for the additional information. Actually, for customers outside the manufacturer's country, downloads will nearly always be the best option (when possible), even with free shipping. It's not the shipping charges that cause grief for international customers, it's the extra duty, taxes, brokerage fees etc. that are added on before the package reaches one's door. So, while free shipping is always appreciated, unless someone at Sample Logic can guarantee they can get the package to me here in Canada with no added costs, a download really remains my only option. Just my thoughts about 'pre-ordering'...or more precisely 'ordering in advance'.............frank

Really enjoying the soundclips and the videos, Joe. They not only demonstrate clearly what this new product can do, but are informative...and provide a perfect way to spend a little time watching, listening and learning as we await the product's release. The fact that Cinematic Guitars is "multi-genre" (see the latest video) is a real bonus too for those of us who create a variety of types of music on a regular basis. Cheers.............frank

Re: Sample Logic announces Cinematic Guitars

When I saw the title of this library , I was prepared to hear various traditional guitars recorded in various ways ..... I was WAY off base , and in a good way !!....It was not what I was looking for , but surely caught my attention and kept me wanting more and more !!...One of the beauties of this collection is having the effects and modulation controls right there in real time without having to open up another effects library, and numerous other programs to acheive the end result .... Very integraded and ingenious ....I look forward to ordering this product and can already see myself spending MANY hours manipulating it ...Hopefully this product will be free from issues as most software that comes out today is nothing more than than in Beta form ... It will hopefully also not be too much of a memory hog, but I'm not holding my breath ....Thanks again for a great sounding product ...Jim

Re: Sample Logic announces Cinematic Guitars

I should say, as one of the demo composers- this library is seriously great. Yes, I'm probably not the most objective reviewer here, but there are tons of awesome, tweak-able, incredibly imaginative sounds in this collection. Like some have mentioned before- the ease of automation is unparalleled, and the fact that any effect can be thrown into the arpeggiator is a revelation for me.

Thanks Joe! Making that demo track was a lot of fun
