    Vienna Instruments PRO videos online!

What do you think about it?
I am very impressed by the videos, and even the price ( for me ) is good.
The only thing that scares me a little is that this new sample player is powerful but very complex, and i think that lazy users (like me ) are gonna use the 25% of it's potential, to be optimistic...
    ciao!

OMG! Vienna has done it again! This is a must have for me. The video tutorial on stacking instruments is so inspiring. We'll be able to make our own Symphobia-like patch set ups. The Vienna player was already top shelf and they just raised the bar. Congratulations Vienna! Another brilliant step forward.

Last step : to build their own sequencer. Since, as I already said it, the sequencer / player separation is purely artificial.

    Respectfully,
Nah - I think the last step will be a holographic display of the players on my desktop

I think that every owner of Vienna is gonna purchase it, considering also the free Flugelhorn, wich has a ton of articulations!

Can someone tell me if with the new player i need to rebuild a new template?
Or if with the new player installed the template automatically updates?
I work with Logic 8 and with Vienna Ensemble Pro.
    Thank you!
    ciao!

    Well I take it too...

But the software thing could be done now...

And you’ll see, to be serious, it will.

There is a planned feature to give you the option whether to load VI or VI Pro, but i don't think that it is in the current release. However, VI Pro allegedly loads your legacy Presets.

    Respectfully,
No money in this. Too much uninformed brand loyalty for people to switch, IMO.

I think the next step will be iVienna - a set of robot musicians, coming as extra to your sound library as a cheap application for you brand new holographic iPod 20.0

Steve Jobs won’t agree. Only in a Pixar movie, maybe...

You mean people won’t let down their favorite sequencer ?

No need to switch. It just has to be Rewire.

If you break the player / sequencer wall, you have to reconsider everything.

    Implications are fabulous.

    Let’s see :

They developed their own Performance Tool.

    Then their own player.

    Their own mixer.

    Their own IR Room

    Their own FX...

    Their own LAN solution

    Then...

VSL is the leader for me since the beginning. And they just prove it again.

    Leader, but not alone.

Who will break the player / sequencer wall first ? VSL ? Garritan ? Steinberg ? Native Instruments ?

Cause it will be as comfortable to use actual players as it seems comfortable to use the Performance Tool today.
