So i'm searching bestservice.com looking for a good classical library...

Sorry for the double post this looks like the appropriate forum.

Right now I have my eye on String Essentials 2nd Edition, and Complete Classical 2nd Edition. I have East West Platinum strings but find them to be too wet, I'm looking for something more contemporary, with nice solo strings.
I've heard some demos and they sound nice, 16 bit tho?

I just don't have enough money for Vienna atm and I wouldn`t just want one bundle, so right now it's between those two

So for classical its SE, or CC,?

    Cheers

    Hi,

I own both of them and I like their sound quite much. Yes, they're a little bit out-dated, but they still sound very good to me, specially when mixed with other libraries (with 16bit samples, of course), so I use them regularly. SE is dedicated to strings, as the name indicates, while CCC has a bunch of nice patches for full orchestra, choir, piano, violin runs, etc. So, if you just want strings, go for SE, and you'll have a lot of different string patches and articulations to work with. If you need more than strings, then go for CCC. Also, you could get both of them (maybe for a discounted price at some on-line stores, as I did), because these two products are often sold together, as they are both from Peter Siedlaczek.

    Best regards
