    Small Activation Problem

I thought I'd post a copy of this in a new thread - I originally posted this in "It's Here It's Here!":

Hey Everybody. I had this issue with some other Garritan products but it was fixed very quickly so I hope that this one will be as well.

I drop my activation card for World Instruments on my new Aria player and I get the "Product is now activated" screen. Great! BUT...

After closing and re-opening it, it tells me it's not activated yet. I have tried the download of the card and the direct drag from the Garritan screen several times. No go either way.

    Any ideas? Help!

EDIT: I have also tried a re-boot. No go.

Also, for some reason, I was sent three emails with three keycards - all the same.

    Using Windows 7 Pro 64bit
In theory there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice there is.

Have you tried saving the keycard to the desktop and dragging to the open standalone ARIA player? You might also want to run the ARIA player as administrator.

Could be an issue with this for everybody. We'll look into this tomorrow when everyone is available and get back to you with a solution.

Hi Tony thanks for the rapid response.

I am running as Admin. Yes I saved to the desktop and dragged to the standalone (tried both 32 and 64bit) as well as from inside SONAR and cannot get either to "stick."

    Re: Small Activation Problem

The problem is platform independent and occurs on Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.5.

Same problem here. NOT running or installed as admin but obviously, as read above, this is not the problem...

    Re: Small Activation Problem

often authorizations put themselves in a folder someplace, and if that folder's "read only", regardless of whether logged in as admin or not, the authorization won't "stick".
i've seen that with some other plugs...could that have something to do with what's going on?

    Re: Small Activation Problem

    For those who ordered World Instruments, the error is now fixed. Go here and download your keycard again;

    http://www.garritan.com/store/registration/keys/

Save it to the desktop and drag to the open standalone ARIA player to activate.
