Page Filing, BIGGER or smaller, which is better?

With More RAM and bigger hard drives available today, do we want to use larger paging files, the standard (recommended) page file size, or no paging files for better performance?

For use on Spectrasonics Omnisphere, Stylus RMX, Trillian, East West Play, Native Instruments Komplete 7, Synthogy Ivory Pianos, SoniVox VSTi's.

    Windows 7 64 Bit
    8 GB RAM

A bigger page file is not necessary. I would keep a page file just for programs that may need it to work.

Watch memory so you don't run out of physical memory. The last thing you want is to have samples swapping from the hard drive which will cause pops and clicks.
