    Snow In Time For Christmas

I just wanted to work on a piece that was light in nature and with all the snow we have been getting, this was an opportune time to do so. This is the result. Most of the piece uses Garritan Personal Orchestra and JaBB samples. The lead tenor is Coyote Forte sample and the drums are a combination of Garritan Fusion Kit samples (the overhead mic'ed drums) and the Session Drummer from Cakewalk (individually mic'ed drums).

    This is the results:

Re: Snow In Time For Christmas

    Hey Rich,

I don't know if it's me or your site, but this is what I got when I clicked on the link:

    Error Occurred While Processing Request

    Error Diagnostic Information

Error occurred while attempting to open service control manager.
Windows NT error number 5 occurred.

    HTTP/1.1 503 Connection: close Date: Thu, 09 Dec 2010 17:59:10 GMT Server: Microsoft-IIS/6.0 Cache-Control: private x-server: 5 Content-type: text/html Expires: 0 Pragma: no-cache Cache-control: no-cache, no-store, must-revalidate Error Occurred While Processing Request

    Error Diagnostic Information

An error occurred while attempting to establish a connection to the service.
The most likely cause of this problem is that the service is not currently running. You can use the 'Services' Control Panel to verify that the service is running and to restart it if necessary. Windows NT error number 2 occurred.

Would love to hear your piece!

    Regards,

It did it to me a few times. I think the site is having a problem. I did get it to work but don't know why the error is occurring. I will reset the link and see if that helps.

    Thanks for letting me know.

I just reset the link and it seems to be working.

Re: Snow In Time For Christmas

    Hi Rich ... new message:

    Server Error

Either the Macromedia application server(s) are unreachable or none of them has a mapping to process this request.

    I'll try again tonight,

    Frank

If the first link I set up doesn't work, try this one:

That one works! Very enjoyable tune. Has a wintery and snowy feel to it.

    Jeff G,

You are right it does deserve a lyric. It has lyrics but I need a vocalist. Do you want to volunteer? I'll provide the accompaniment.
