    Classica guitar for aria player

    Hi people,
I created a *.sfz file for classical guitar
    You can download it here:

    https://sites.google.com/site/ighinetfiles/file-sfz

    the name is chitighi,

just drag the sfz file in aria player.

    I hope you'll like

Thanks! Good job - especially in the lower register. I love the "buzz" that you picked up in the lower strings.

In the upper register (also, well done!) I get a tiny artefact at the end of the sample - not really objectionable in an ensemble context, but in a solo context it might be distracting.

This really sounds good. Could I suggest maybe adding a few finger slide sounds? That would really put it over the top!

Congratulations. A very good sample set!
In theory there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice there is.

Re: Classica guitar for aria player

I'm not sure how to get this working. I downloaded the file, unzipped it. No what? I have tried dragging the file to the Aria player, tried dragging the file in the folder (the only non-WAV file) - nothing form those. I must be missing a step. I'd really like to try this, so if anyone can give me a brief step-by-step, I'd be most appreciative.

Thanks in advance. And I'll thank you later, too.

    for marce:

I recorded every sound with a microphone,
the guitar that I used is a Garrone guitar hand made.

I did that - when I drag the .sfz file to the Aria player, nothing happens. I'll keep trying...

It worked just fine by dragging it in to my ARIA. Make sure one of the slots is active with a white dot on the load bar next to the name of instrument slot.

Hmmm... did what I said make sense?

Anyway, it worked and the guitar has a nice sound to it. Thanks fontssina!

    Rich,

Yes, it did. I think that is what I have been doing, but I'll give it another try. Could my ARIA player be an older version? Might that be the problem?
