esoundz Easter $10 sale- any recommendations??

You can find out about this elsewhere (don't want to get deleted)- but anyone have the other Sonic Reality RMX style packs that care to share about them? I have the World Drums one and it is decent= any thoughts?

the steve gadd one has some cool beats but most of the other signature ones suffer from poor rexing-that is especially true for the ones that use odd meters like the bozzio and the bruford.

After listening to the samples, I was a bit underwhelmed at the $10 ones; these are definitely not Spectrasonics quality. Some of the $70 ones sounded better.

    Edit: Forgot the word "not"

I ended up picking up the 3 Latin collections- originally from Q-Up Arts. I have yet to find any stinker in there and played around with Time Designer on them (worked very well). Can't have enough Latin accoustic rhythms to add to the RMX staple. It was definately worth the money- I checked on the Q-Up Arts original sample cd's and they are currently running- on sale- for $50 each- so I got the RMX versions for only 30 versus 150. The construction kits didn't appeal to me so these were really one of the few left that I feel are worth getting.

Now all we need is for a new version of RMX to come out- has anyone heard a rumor that the REX format was going to get a new facelift. I read this somewhere and thought that if true, then maybe Stylus would follow suit?

I really don't understand why I read this all the time. Yes it's old by comparison to Omni and Trilian but it's still in a class by itself. We don't need it. We're just spoiled.
