Reboot: News on a string library?

    So, it's been a while.
Where do we stand on this front?

I'd rather not spend big bucks on some other company's product if a new Garritan product is in the wings.

Same here - also the Choir(s).
In theory there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice there is.

    Hi guys,

I think Gary made a New Years resolution not to announce details on new products until they are released.

You should email him and ask, as he may have a better answer personally then on the forums.

I fear the delays are going to be detrimental to the Garritan name.
I love the products, but we are now on three years of wait time for any update regarding the solo and sectional string library.

For those of us who use ONLY notation software, it is very frustrating as most other sample libraries, and particularly string libraries, are not compatible at all with notation software.

One (absolutely gorgeous, by the way) string library I listened to recently, actually requires the library to be installed on a second computer.
