Exclamation Need New Audio Interface... Ideas??

The magic smoke has left my Presonus Firebox and neither of the firewire ports will work anymore. I think I may be looking at getting a replacement interface. Soon.

What do you all recommend? I haven't researched interfaces in several years, but all I really need is this:

    - Works in Win7 on Cubase (4, currently)
    - Solid Audio Quality
    - Midi IN (and latency-eliminating drivers for midi composition)
    - 1/4 in L/R inputs and outputs.

Additional inputs or features are a plus. Any ideas?

I'm interesting in those new MOTU units that are either FW or USB.

RME is great on Windows. Best drivers in the business.

IMO MOTU is mediocre quality, and I've had huge problems the MIDI drivers. Works better on OSX, so they say. Also customer support is appalling; almost as bad as PreSonus. :>)

Thanks for the heads up. I'm still using M-Audio cards, a trusty Terratec EWX 2496. My MIA died after 10 years of use. I still prefer PCI cards.
