    Realistic Concert Halls

    I've found this interesting post:

    http://valhalladsp.wordpress.com/201...concert-halls/

I don't know how this ValhallaRoom sounds like, but I'm sure those tips are useful with other plugins.
Have a look at Comment #2.

Ps. What a sad day today. Steve Jobs passed away along with Bert Jansch and Guido Pancaldi (former It's-A-Knock-Out referee. Older European users surely remember him).

Heard about Steve Jobs (of course), but hadn't heard about the passing of Bert Jansch.
    Sad day all around.

    .
Interesting page you posted, Fabio - Thanks!

Comment #2 mentions GPO - BUT there's an error in what Jonas said, and so I'm posting this to help avoid confusion in people who take a look at what you posted.

Jonas said he uses shorter pre-delay and larger "depth size" for instruments that are farther away from the audience. That had to be a typo. What's correct is that the pre-delay should be longer, not shorter. Just as the long post about the ValhallaRoom settings explains, shorter pre-delay is for more "intimacy" and longer pre-delays are for larger rooms and distance.
