I have so much to learn about how to get the most out of GPO. This may be a dumb question but here it goes. I start my work in a notation environment, whether it's staff view in Sonar or Harmony Assistant, which I have yet to use. So I enter all of the parts from the staff and then do edits on the individual voices. I haven't even scratched the surface as far as editing is concerned. But I was wondering whether people actually performed/recorded each part separately, writing out and then recording each voice. I don't know if this makes any sense or not but if it does I would be interested in the approach taken by others.
