Can't get instrument library to work on Mac

I can't get the instrument library in the Aria player to work. I just get "Empty Import Reload". I can "Import" an instrument okay, but I have to go to the Mac directory system.

This is the latest Aria update on a MacBook Air running Leopard.

I have tried the thing with renaming the preferences file with capital letters.

I'd really like to know where you got that from...

Most of the times, all you need to do is to re-install ARIA Player on top of what you have already installed:

    Hope this helps.

I got it from right here: http://www.ariaengine.com/faq/index....=82&artlang=en

    It says:

Actualy, ARIA expect to open "/Library/Preference/com.Plogue.Aria.plist" , when in fact the file is named com.plogue.aria.plist (in lower case)

    Workaround to fix this issue:

    - Close all aria stuff

    - copy AND Rename "com.plogue.aria.plist" to "com.Plogue.Aria.plist"

    - You should now have both files on your directory and everything should now work properly.

An update to the ARIA engine to look for the lowercase version should soon be released.

    Oops, forgot about that one!

Hope you've got it working again anyways.

Sadly, it's not working any better after re-installation. It's a minor issue, though.

What I really wish is that it were possible to map my keyboard controllers, like volume sliders and track selectors, to the Aria player.

    As in MIDI Learn?

Exactly. I'd like to be able to use the volume sliders on my keyboard particularly, but also be able to map the other various controls. This is mainly for live performing of sounds, like harp or celesta, in symphony orchestra performances (when the real instruments are not available).
