I have recently udated my rendering of Ralph Vaughn-Williams "Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis" using the new TVEC 3.1 update for Kirk Hunter Studios' Concert Strings II.

Personlly, I like the improved sounds of the solo strings, but the whole library seems to have benefitted a lot over all with the new TVEC 3.1 stuff. (BTW: Kirk Hunter has Concert Strings II as well as all his products on sale for 75% off until Jauary 2, 2012. At that price, you really can't pass it up!)
Here's another example of this piece which Jay Bacal rendered using VSL's string libraies:

No doubt. Jay's rendering has better quality mastering behind it. (Hey, I'm a rookie at all this sample library stuff!! I still have my training wheels on, ya know.) I just happen to like the sound of Kirk Hunter's library better.
If you want to follow along with the score while listening to this piece, the score can be found here:

Have fun!
