Purchased Basic and registered but keeps wanting to run in demo mode ??

I just took the plunge and purchased GAS Basic, went through (or so I thought) the registration process, saved the activation key, etc and received the verification e-mails thanking me for my purchase. However, when I open the program, I receive a notice "Your copy of Garritan Steinway is not activated. Running in DEMO mode: saving is disabled and plugin will be silent after 15 minutes. Do you want to download your activation key now? ....WHICH I ALREADY DID and have saved the key!!

So now what? How do I actually get it activated?

Macy, yes...as per the instructions on the Garritan registration page, I attempted to drag the card from the page onto the application several times and wouldn't activate/authorize. That's when I posted the problem, decided to get some sleep and worry about it later.

This morning I read through the manual's installation section and followed the suggestion of saving the license card to the desktop and dragging from there....and it worked. When in doubt, read the manual. As far as dragging from the online registration page, must be something about Firefox's drag/drop capabilities. ??

Now it's on to playing some music and evaluating GAS Basic.

Glad you got the authorization working- as you found, the most surefire way is to download the keycard and then drag it to authorize. Hope you enjoy playing it

I've been working with it most of the day going back and forth playing through my Altec Lansing speaker system as well as good Sony headphones and it's...okay. But it's only been a day and I always give new products a fair chance to make sure I'm using them correctly and in this case, learning the settings well enough to make sure they're optimized for my needs...and my ear.

I'll mess with it some more and give you a more in-depth evaluation.
