    NAMM 2012 OmniGuessing

On D - 2 of NAMM's kickoff, bets are open on what would be Spectrasonics' next revolution !
All you Spectraddicts, have a stab in the dark! Wishful (or even magical) thinking counts too...
Besides the service Omnisphere & Trilian updates, I see a Stylus RMX 2.0 gracefully escorted by a couple of new Xpanders. Some commercial OMNISPHERE Library packs (compiled by genres and/or instruments).
    Perhaps a Spectrasonics' MIDI Controller.
Feel free to fantasize aloud! While keeping in mind that Spectrasonics will probably exceed your wildest guesses...

    Re: NAMM 2012 OmniGuessing

I am really sad there are no teasers to build up to a new release- so much so that I think nothing will come out of NAMM this coming week (except for the obligatory Jordan Rudess demos). Maybe some updated iOS features. Just not a brand new release (or maybe the Omnisphere release just took so much out of them that they weren't going to do it that way again for the next release).

Still would love for some nice piano's in Omnisphere (then I can do away with my other instruments and use Omni live once and for all).

    Oh, and cowbell!

    Re: NAMM 2012 OmniGuessing

We're not making product announcements at NAMM anymore, since they generally tend to be made way too early.

Instead we will be going the Apple route and making a big splash on our own when we have a new product. That way, when we announce it, you'll be able to get it (what a concept!). :-)

What I will reveal is that we have a lot of very cool things in the works. Good times ahead! :-)

Thumbs up Re: NAMM 2012 OmniGuessing

The only reason for me to follow what's going on at NAMM is to see what
Spectrasonics are cooking up for us. Now, after Eric's words, no need for
    me to follow NAMM.
    More free time for me...yay.

I think a hardware midi controller is coming, maybe dedicated for Omnisphere I think its the only way forword for a powerfull software like Omni maybe a few more presets, could be a sampler added but I think the most importent thing is a hardware controller.........

I believe its the way musicians are going these days we want more control over our sounds, and just to add 3rd party controllers ant really cutting it with Omni they are very limited and glitchy.

Thats my bet and wishful thinking

    Re: NAMM 2012 OmniGuessing

Thanks for clearing that up Eric- now we don't have to waste time wondering and hoping (and being unhappy and sad). Now we can just get back to making music and saving our money (word to the wise- stop spending your money and save up for whatever Eric has coming).
Oh, and for crying out loud, upgrade your darn PC's- last thing we want to hear is "why does Spectrasonic's KaboobilizerMegaRMXOrbeyTrill not run on my 'puter"- you know why? Cause he is pushing the envelope baby! That's why!

So, save up now, so you can not only afford what is coming- but also to buy a new system that can handle it.

    Just saying!

and don't say you weren't warned (actually, I am already guessing this post will be quoted later on this year just to prove a point).

    Just saying!

So are there any videos coming from Spectrasonics from NAMM 2012 anyways. Haven't seen anything- not even Jordan Rudess

Using Omnisphere with two keyboards. Use in dual live mode with Nord stage layering pads and midi controller up top with leads and arpeggios etc. loving Omni Tr at my fingertips but are there any plans / is it possible for omi tr to support dual live mode so I can control parts 1-4 for lower keyboard and 5-8 for upper keyboard?
