If you have upgraded to Lion and are using the Apple Magic Mouse or Pad you might find that scrolling in some of your DAW windows such as the graphic editor could use some adjustments but you don't see any controls in the Mouse or Pad panes in System Preferences.
You need to open Universal Access which is in the top right corner of System Preferences. There you can select the mouse or pad. If you go to the mouse section you'll see a button at the bottom right that says Mouse Options. That brings up a window that gives you different option for controlling your mouse. The Pad has the same options.
In Universal Access there is also a check box at the bottom left corner to Show Universal Access status in the menue bar. Now you can adjust the mouse and pad easily when you want the default setting.
