    Hi Raymond;
Hey, this is great! Very effervescent and lively, certainly more "all of a piece" in terms of the result, it really rolls right along, in a virtuosic sort of way!

Thanks for posting, I will check out the additional movements to see where you go with it.

Hello Raymond! I am not sure I have heard much of your music on the forum before.

    Which I now regret.

This is absolutely wonderful. Just to clarify, this is absolutely wonderful. Really impressive stuff here, not just in the skill required to compose and perform something like this, but in the elegance in which it flows so nicely throughout the piece. It's not just difficult for being difficult.

No pressure, but I hope you are moving along nicely on this, would love to hear more!

Thank you guys. I've been busy with the quality of the sound. Now it is time to go on with part 4. See original and edited message for new renderings and additional part 3. This may surprise you, I started with D-minor and ended up with Bb major. First I thought to transpose this to D-minor also, but after a while I found myself quite happy with this surprising and "positive" ending.

And now.... the train goes further and further, nearing Wladiwostok.

Nothing, just a joke. This PianoConcerto is like a train trip, speeding from the station in Moskov, passing by landscapes incredible beautiful, taking rail switches, having a good meal in the restaurant wagon, listening to old stories, dreaming away......... and lately I saw a message on the Net about a town in Russia. Curious as I am, I looked this up in Google and found out that this town is rather interesting. From one internet-hit to another I ended with the Orient Express, going from Moskov to Wladiwostok....... Who knows. Certainly when I'll win the lottery. My wife and I, we always dream about going to Japan, China, Russia (St.Petersburg), now also Wladiwostok, Australia, New Zealand. Strangley enough it never is U.S.A., don't know why.

Raymond, nicely done. I love the piano and the way you handled the orchestral parts. Nice, really nice...

Thumbs up Re: Piano Concerto no.2 in G Major

I think it has been a pretty huge work writing, giving expression, and finally rendering and mixing it... but well...I know what push a composer to do this...

The final result is really worthy of the spent hours. Great, really great work!

It should deserve a live performance. My best wishes.

Re: Piano Concerto no.2 in G Major

I had plans for the evening and then I saw that you had posted all 4 movements/parts of your piano concerto. Well, since then I have achieved nothing. I should say, I have achieved nothing I meant to do tonight but I did get a chance to listen to some wonderful music.

I think I had previously listened to 2 parts of your concerto and was impressed. Tonight I have had a chance to listen to all 4 parts in order and am even more impressed - the concerto is very well put together and held my interest from the first note to the last (and in places there were lots of notes!). I giving some of the parts a second listen as I write (I just finished the second time through the 4th part and am starting over).

Besides the writing I also think the rendering sounds great.

I hope everyone notices that all 4 movements are now posted in this thread and take time to listen - it is time well spent!

I agree with Fabio - this deserves a performance.
