    Scarbee J-Slap demo 2... \"Fast funk in E\"

    Hi Giga-people!

I have just uploaded the second demo from the soon released Giga bass CD: http://www.scarbee.com/j_slap_demoes.html

    \"The Scarbee J-Slap\"

This is a fast and furious \"funk in E\".
Lots of mutes and triads and some flamingo tricks...
The bass playing on this track has only BRIDGE pick-up on.

    Have fun!

Holy Crap!!....I Finally listened to those demos. Very nice!

The sound of the demos\' is great. The samples are just \"sweet\". I want to hear the neck pick up
is there a lot of velocity sweitching going on, or maybe demeension switching? how is the library laid out? Just a wondr at how one might sequence something like what you have in the demos

    Hi Kingidiot!

    Thanks for the kind words!
Oh yeah, there is a lot of dimensions and velocities.

    There a 2 major J-Slap programs:

Jam bass, which is the \"easy\" bass and

Studio bass 1-4 - which is the ultimate bass.

I can not mention so much now, but believe me: you can do virtually everything!

The neck p.u is almost finished and it is perhaps my own favourite, cos it sounds \"dirty\".

The fingered will probably be ready for Frankfurt (spring) and the fretless or Picked will be ready for summer.

I have just updated the fast funk demo so that there are bended fingered harmonics
    in the outro..

Yes there will be harmonics too - lots in \"Scarbee J-Slap\"

Thanks again for the positive respons.

    Thomas,

    Stunning!!!

I am getting my breath back. Is that REALLY a sample played on a keyboard?

I cannot wait to hear the non-slap basses.

    Just stunning.

    Hi Ian!

\"I am getting my breath back. Is that REALLY a sample played on a keyboard?\"

Yes - and there are no premade licks, triads or slides. Only triggered samples, the songs could be played in any tempo.

\"I cannot wait to hear the non-slap basses.\"

They will be real cool: Expect J-Fingered to spring and J-Fretless to Summer.

I just can\'t wait myself to make a Jaco-tribute on the fretless with harmonic-chords and all...

At NAMM there will be announced a surprise considering the future of the Scarbee basss libraries and the prize will be very favorable too.

    Thomas
