I need advice on drum sample CD\'s

Any advice you could give me on quality drum sample cd\'s for Gigasampler LE would be much appreciated. It will be used for everything from pop to hard rock; no rap or hip-hop. If you could refer me to a site with sound samples that would be great. Also, is grouping allowed in Gigasampler like you have on a dedicated drum machine, where one instrument cuts off another if in the same group. Thanks in advance for all of your help.

Some of these places have demos: http://www.quparts.com/store/shop/store.html http://www.soundsonline.com/
(Has Gigasampler Bob Clearmountain drums - these make better use of the Gigasampler\'s dimension capabilities than other non-native (egAkai)CDs) http://www.bigfishaudio.com/ http://www.bestservice.de/

Some free wav samples here: http://www.samplelibrary.net/

Gigasampler was going to allow grouping for cutoff purposes, but it\'s not there yet (they do say they will continue to support Gigasampler though). Gigastudio has it I believe.

You might also want to try out the acoustic essentials gigasampler cd from Danny Lux. I have been very satisfied by the realistic, unprocessed drum samples on this disk. Not to mention the fact that you get great 12 string and 6 string guitar sounds to boot. PLus, it is only $59. It worked for me.

Big Fish audio drum doctor and Drums II from East west are also pretty good. Another thing to check out is the groovemaster drum loops and hits. The ideal for me is to (using the new copy and paste regions feature) create a custom kit using these with the cymbals and hats from Drums II. I still like the Drums II cymbals.
    Have fun
