Remember those tantilizing posts from an outfit called \"ppp\" and another from what appeared to be a one-man show? The latter was using a Swedish piano, I think? Does anyone know the status of these really promising instruments? And what\'s the score on Trachtman\'s upgrade to the Steinway sample? http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/42/john_lewis_grant.html

Re: How are the latest piano samples coming along?
As you must surely be aware from my previous messages, I have a webpage specifically devoted to giving a status on the progress of my next generation sample sets. That URL is: http://www.wstco.com/gigastatus/
I was planning to update the page tonight or tomorrow, since I now have all 8 of the \"pedal-up\" layers in near-final state, and I may post some additional in-process MP3 demos.
As you must also know, from prior threads on this BBS, I have been hampered by a problem with the gigasampler editor\'s inability to process gigasampler instrument files larger than 2 gigabytes on my machine.
Thirdly, as I have stated before, I will not release the new sample sets until I am completely happy with them myself. I will take whatever time is necessary to achieve the best results I can within the abilities of the software packages. This is why I will not project any firm, promised release date.
