ADA MB-1 Vintage Tube Bass Pre-amp (Hollywood, CA) $200
I am selling myADA MB-1 Tube Bass Pre-amp.
I am a total Bass gear nerd ;)
It is one of the first Bass pre-amps which combines analog and digital technology. It is programmable by using presets which include fully parametric EQs and several effects - compression, distortion, chorus, flangers, phasers, and reverbs. It has a digital interface which shapes the tone and then runs it through tubes and out via 1/4" jacks to either a power amp, recording rig, or PA.
This can work as is or can be controlled by a MIDI footswitch to scroll through presets on stage in a live setting. It stores has 73 factory sounds for Active and Passes basses and the remaining spots can be created and stored by you. It holds up to 127 stored presents which can all sound extremely different. 73 of the Presets are factory designed and sound great, the other spots are for user-presets. It's been in my rack and is in excellent condition. Below are the technical specs and some photos of the unit. This works, creates phenomenal bass tones, and has NO damage at all.
