    Olympic Fanfare for Brass Sextet

With the coming summer Olympics in London, I thought I'd arrange the John Williams, Olympic Fanfare for Brass Sextet. The group I play in is a brass sextet and we should have fun playing this arrangement.

    It's for:

2 C Trumpets, 2 Horns in F, Trombone and Bass Trombone.

Created with Finale 2011 using the Aria Engine and Garritan Instruments.

as fun as this sort of thing is (I LOVE Williams' fanfare writing, so few composers have his flair for the pomp), don't forget that the music is still under copyright.

I know it's annoying to hear, but it really is a serious issue. Regardless of whether you charge admission to your concerts or not, of whether you are professionals or amateurs, it doesn't affect the simple fact that the music is under copyright, and that to make ANY sort of arrangement or transcription requires a written permission from the copyright holder.
