Aria player won't respond to CC10 pan data in DP

I'm using Digital Performer 7 and I can't get Aria Player to respond to pan values. the only way i can change panning is to set it in the Aria Player mixer window.

i'm sure it's possible to do with CC data from DP but i can't find it anywhere.

I don't know why DP isn't controlling the ARIA mixer. In Sonar, the controls in a MIDI channel strip control volume and panning by default.

But, since you're probably not wanting to automate the pan and have instruments move around during a recording, there's really no hassle in just using the ARIA pan sliders is there?

Hi Jonothon, welcome to Northern Sounds

for future questions about Digital Performer... http://www.motunation.com is also a great place to find answers.

In DP's mixer, make sure your automation button is turned on for the desired midi track,...
then the volume, pan and other midi features can all be automated from DP's midi tracks.

see the Quicktime movie I made for you...

the orange continuous data is pan and the blue is volume
