A Couple Of My Organ Compositions

Here are a couple of my organ compositions using the original Garritan organs...not the newer instruments:

    "Grand Processional"

    "Vital Organ"

    Play them loudly!

More sparkling music from the bottomless Alexander vaults. "Grand Processional" is very aptly named, it is indeed that! And "Vital Organ" is a vigorous little lesson in composition, ala the school of Mr. Larry.

AND these are a good reminder that GPO does indeed offer several very nice sounding organs.

Hello Larry, there is a very narrow range of organ music I enjoy listening to. Most of the time, I find organs can just be overbearing and difficult to listen to.

    That being said...

I really, truly, enjoyed Grand Processional! You really have captured the Grand (not to be confused with overbearing) sound of the organ.

Vital Organ was great, too. Much different from Grand Processional. I think the best part of both of these is that they sound very clean. The melodies and harmonies are easy to pick out...it is not just a wall of sound.

Very enjoyable listen, thanks for sharing your always-wonderful music!

Just past midnight, Larry -- the ideal time to point both speakers
out the window and crank my 1000-watt amps up to eleven... lol.

Hey. Talk about effective writing. There are already three police
cars out front. When Billy-Joe Bob next door blew up his meth lab,
it took 'em a day and a half to get here.

Nice job on these, particularly the Grand, Larry. I thank you, and
    my neighbor's Daschund thanks you.

    Best,

    David

Thanks very much for the good words, Mister Michael. You encourage an old person to live a tad longer.

    Ha ha ha ha...

Mister David, you are a caution. My alleged music always gets you in trouble with your local gendarmes.

I thank you for your comments and humor, my Yankee friend. They are always welcome.
