    My First Instant Orchestra Piece...

When I first got Instant Orchestra, I wrote a quick little tune inspired by a Hans Zimmer piece from Pirates of the Caribbean. It is not too long, but is all GPO4 and GIO. Here is my sad little tune (in a sanguine way not horrid hopefully):

    The Haunting

Oh yeah - That's juicy stuff, Jim - and "sanguine" not "horrid." Really glad you put this tasty little bit up. GPO and IO can be such a great combo.

Yes Jim, that was real nice! Now I want one of these I/O's myself, I can hear how it could inspire, right out of the box!

    Thanks!

Very effective, Jim, and well done.

But -- you know me... lol -- perhaps we could get you to take this further?

There's a lot of potential in this.

I have certainly thought about that. I try to get partial ideas down before I forget them, and then add more as I get to them. I will certainly move this to the top of my list.

    Hi Jim,

Very colorful and a capital-B for Brooding! Very powerful and emotional. That cor part may be even higher than the opening to the William Tell Overture! So intense and unnerving in that extreme register. Nice!

Thanks very much Dan and Frank for listening and commenting. David (etLux) has inspired me to give this piece some more attention. So, hopefully I will have an update to this in the near future.

Hello Jim! I can certainly hear the references to Zimmer's soundtrack here. You have a very nice mournful melody here, backed with those glissandos, you have done a wonderful job of setting the dark mood!
