These are really awesome pieces. Amazingly arranged. Especially since so much of it really moves quickly. That is not easy to make sound good.

One suggestion, I would take some of the reverb tail off especially from the strings and horns. Just a suggestion.

    Thanks again for the post.

    Great stuff, Rodney!!
Big spacious sound, lots of variety and punchy horn-hits, the wind and string arpeggio's, the way you present the swirling world of your imagination - exciting and quite accomplished sounding - thanks for posting!!

Most enjoyable. Thanks for the posting.

Only one comment, the first movement clips a lot. The first one is at 1:32 on one channel only.
The fortissimo at the end is full of clipping, both channels.
The other two movements are fine.

I suspect you had it peaking just below FSD in the audio file, and the mp3 conversion has "taken it over the top".
It's a good idea to reduce levels by 3 to 4dB before conversion.
Many mp3 converters can boost levels by 3dB or so, even the best.
    I won't pretend I understand why.

Are there instruments from the World collection here?

    Wonderful suite!

Powerful (part I), evocative (part II), restless (part III)...
OK, there might be many more adjectives for your music. It is really vivid, descriptive...

Thanks for sharing! For a newbie, like me, it's a privilege to learn from you all!

John, can you check the file now for me to see if it clips?

Your orchestration is, "money", and perfectly suited for large scale cinematics.

    Enjoyed the listen.

Thank you so much for taking the time to make a comment and your thoughts on the work. I had to look up subtlety to see if that was a compliment (just kidding. )

Big round of applause for your suite, Rodney!

Wonderful to see all of these together in one BIG musical package - now THIS is what our Festival's all about!

I had to keep returning to the thread tab to re-open the Box folder, since I couldn't get to the other MP3s after playing one, but that was no big issue.

These were spectacular the first time around, and certainly continue to vibrate with their big, powerful energy - and will do so forever!

Thank you in large amounts, Rodney!

(you've inspired me to use 4 exclamation points in one post - OK, so that's over the top, but so is the music - and I mean that in a good way!! THERE, 2 more exclamation points.-- ! And another!---gotta stop. period.)

    Randy
