Sub anyone?

Just curious how many of you are using a sub in your monitoring system.

And by the way, how many of you are doing 5.1? I don\'t have room for that but I am thinking of getting a sub. Are most of you guys doing mainly stereo mixes?

    Thanks!

You don\'t need a sub, if your monitors are big enough...

    christianb,

Thanks for taking my little (big?) psychological test. Another check in the mamary column. Someday I\'ll figure out what it all means.

My conclusion is that it\'s a rump. Why? because the sound waves come out of the little hole between the cheecks :-)

500 watts huh? Yeah Ka boom! Just what I \"want\". (Key word: WANT) I know I don\'t need it.

Your sandwich is on the way, Sharmy! Jerry\'s Deli ok with you?

Jon, dang those are monsters. When are you gonna paint them though? They\'d look much better that way....

Just kidding! ;-) Those are really nice, the wood is beautiful! Looks like (and sounds like I\'m sure ) that you took tremendous care in crafting those. Sure would like to hear them. Nice work!

\"because the sound waves come out of the little hole between the cheecks\"---- Now that is funny!

I don\'t know Jon... I think your speakers are part of the next X-men evolution... a mutation of the female breast with J-lo\'s butt, which somehow produce a massive sound and are completely unable to be ignored by most normal men...... You could sell those on Ebay for a fortune...just for the looks!

I\'m developing a new symphonic elephant fart library, and these were the only monitors that were able to accurately reproduce the desired frictitude :-)

Anyway, here are some pics of the JBLs that my monitors were modeled after...
