<font size=\"2\" face=\"Verdana, Arial\">Yes, CANDY is the second in YELLOW TOOLS MVI (Modular Virtual Instruments) series (CULTURE was the first) and will be released in the US by EASTWEST next month.

This time it\'s all about the SAXOPHONE, an instrument that\'s very complex, and in our opinion, has never been sampled accurately - until now!

Like CULTURE, it is very expressive and detailed. To get some idea of the extremes YELLOW TOOLS go to, visit http://www.soundsonline.com/sophtml/details.phtml?sku=YT-100 and read the reviews of CULTURE!

    Take care,

Only what it says at the site because it hasn\'t been released yet and no demos are posted!

\"9GB of sax samples\" had me drooling until I discovered that it was in a self-contained virtual instrument, which might not bother you - but I prefer to have access to the samples for editing/personalising.

I emailed them asking if there were plans for a GIGA/EXS24/Halion/Kontakt version so that I could edit the sounds to my liking and they said \"absolutely not.\" Seems like they prefer their instruments locked up in a custom propriety software system, which although avoids piracy? limits it usefulness to me.

Also take a look at the bigga giggas saxes. I have both the Tenor and Alto saxes (the other 2 volumes aren\'t released yet) and am very happy with them. The website is at www.biggagiggas.com

    Thank you, everyone!

You could email them and let them know of your disgust that they are not providing the option to have access to the waveforms.

Maybe if enough of us ask ;-)
