Roland Strings - Attn Thomas J

Hi Thomas

Congrats on your new Demos. A little while ago you had a topic about \"DO not understimate the power of Roland\" I remember you had two demos that were exclusively done with the Roland Libraries.

Is there a link where we could listen to those MP3\'s?

I cannot seem to find any demos out there that were created using the Roland Sound Libraries.

It would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Dave

I agree. Roland is Yoda.

Sounds are old but still full of energy.

The programming and articulation list might not be the best compared to today\'s standards (not having them), but from what I\'ve heard the sound/tone of those was not heard yet again. It\'d be surely a pleasure to listen to these demos.

<font size=\"2\" face=\"Verdana, Arial\">Hi Dave,

You can find demos for the Roland Strings and Percussion (LCDX04), and the Roland Brass and Woodwinds (LCDX03) at this address:
http://www.roland.co.uk/accotherdemos.htm

By the way, I hope this doesn\'t stop Thomas from sharing his old demos, because I\'m interested in hearing those as well.

Take Care,

Ruben

LCDX series is actually a \"newer\" version of the old Roland stuff.

I\'m still not sure if it contains all the samples from the older Roland Discs. No one has been able to confirm this yet.

The old LCD series of discs is discontinued and not many stores have them anymore. They are fairly $$$ too.

I don\'t have any roland demos online, sorry.
I still think the library is worth getting.
The demos on their site don\'t do the library justice.

Sorry I can\'t provide you with anything at the moment. Just trust me on this; it\'s worth getting if you\'re on a budget and prepared to spend time reprogramming it.

Thanks Thomas

Since you are familiar with the programming of the Roland libraries. What programming technique did you find most helpful with these spesific libraries.?

Thanks
