DIVA Ensemble Patches ... Beta Mp3\'s

*see end of thread for sample 2*

Diva Ensemble Patches

There will be six additional GigaStudio files added to Diva.
They are entitled: Diva Ensembles.

I am currently tweaking and beta testing theses patches therefore they will not be apart
Of the “projected” September 5, release date.

Diva Ensembles will be free update files
to registered users. They will also be sold within the Diva Extended CD to non-registered users.

Key words:

Spoken Melismatic
Small Female Choir

I have posted a 30 sec “Beta” teaser of the new patches. Please tolerate that this is merely a beta demonstration. I will take the liberty to apologize for rather weak string writing … though not the focal point.

What you will hear is Diva Ensemble 1 of 6.
This is “live” Giga play with Diva Ensemble 1 on MIDI port 1 and GOS (custom
Patch)on MIDI port 2.

I employed about great deal of NFX large hall for diffusion.

If you have comments or suggestion, please feel free to share

As always,
Francis Belardino

PS. There will be a true beta demo (Soloist one), composed by, Sam Hulick within the coming days.

Very nice, Francis. The full set should be quite musical and useful.

Sounds good One question, though. Do all female voices sound that operatic or are there more \"common\" voices as well?

Thank you very much indeed, Mr. King`ster!

I am not sure if I understand your question.

I assume what you are asking is if Diva has female vocal samples
that would be more suited for popular music?

The main focal point, centered on the haunting, film score ranges form
angelic to sinister…

however, I would not say they fall into a “pop” category.

Funny you should ask. Soloist 2: Melisa.
We would always refer to, Sarah McLaughlin and Lisa Gerrard during the session.
There is that breathy influence on Soloist 2.

Soloist 1: Rebecca, falls more so into an “operatic” category. Soloist 1 performs with the Philadelphia Opera Company. Go figure!

Re: DIVA Ensemble Patches ... Beta Mp3\'s

I have posted a few examples in the past that were “naked”, so to speak.

Are you seeking a “demo” with no accompaniment and/or additional reverb?
Or, just a few wav files?

Thank you for your interest.

\"I employed about great deal of NFX large hall for diffusion.\"

50% to be precise.

No, I weren\'t really talking about pop stuff, just a pure and clear voice, less vibrating, not that \"classically trimmed\" Yea, Sarah and Lisa-like will be fine, I guess

Thanks for answering ....

Re: DIVA Ensemble Patches ... Beta Mp3\'s

I agree with Marc. I\'d like less of the vibrato, \"opera\" voice, and more of a clear voice. Something like what you\'d hear in a sixteenth century piece by Palestrina instead of something you\'d hear in a Verdi opera.

Francis, were these multisamples or phrases you used for the teaser? The voices sounded very realistic. Please tell me they were multisamples and I\'ll be very impressed.
