Here\'s something along the lines of my older style, a bit more new agey. It\'s called Ravages of Nature. Don\'t crank up your speakers too much, it\'s a bit dynamic and gets louder towards the end
Technical stuff: the patch used here is the Bosendorfer \"Heavy\" Full Map 2 with velocity filter. This and the mod filter patches are my favorites. I added just a slight touch of reverb, using SIR and a live hall Lexicon PCM90 impulse. But really, this piano doesn\'t need any reverb at all.. I cut the reverb out once just to hear it, and it sounded great still. Hats off to Kip, this is really an outstanding library.
Hey Sam, Chiming in my 2 cents worth.
Really nice opening. Good melody. The two dissonant chords at :25 and :29 threw me a bit. Like I\'m one to talk about dissonance though. And the same for the dynamic drop at :44. Just a bit sudden.... for me. Otherwise:sweet.
Did you play it all in? Or as Sharmy says, composer keyboards.
It\'s such a sweet sounding lib. I wish I knew how to play. I am using it though Kip. I swear! Don\'t take it back.
It\'s intentionally kind of a strange piece.. the odd chords at :25 and :29 are intentional, to throw a bit of tension in there and move away from the \"pretty\" intro. The big dynamic drop at :44 is to greatly contrast the turbulence that starts at :33.
Yeah, the piece was played in live with no MIDI edits/tweaks.
there\'s nothing in there that is going off the charts, buddy. All is legal.
But then beauty is in the eye of the beholder so i\'ll shut up.
I really like the first part, didn\'t think the louder section was as magical.
And once again, really love the tone of this piano.
Man, everytime I buy a piano lib I tell myself that\'s it, no more. I\'m not a piano plater so having one good piano should be enough.
But no, you guys have to keep coming up with great libs and force me to spend some more
