    Hawaiian Sounds

Just got a call from Anhauser-Busch, who needs me to create a \"Hawaiian\" sounding piece for Busch Gardens - very quickly .

Anybody know if there are decent Giga samples for Hawaiian guitar or ukelele?

    Thanks!

<font size=\"2\" face=\"Verdana, Arial\">For the ukelele, you can probably get by with a thinned out nylon guitar sample. Try a highpass at about 250 Hz for starters.

For the Hawaiian guitar, try setting your pitch bend range to a half step, and using a Strat sample. Frankie has a good one, and Nick\'s is very fine as well. That will get you pretty close...add a 1/4 second or so slapback with enough feedback to get you two taps and a distant third one, and you will be in the ballpark.

    Good luck!!

We have a Lap Steel guitar on Hans Zimmer Guitars 2 that\'s perfect for this application.
