MERRY XMAS TO ALL THE AMAZING NorthernSounds Garritan Community!

I had my Xmas gifts... some great software from VSL for mixing and VST hosting, and I'm learning to use it.

This is a remix of my old original Garritan Christmas CD entry, rejected years ago, because it was including the choir. I've been forced to rearrange it in an Orchestral version, to be included in the Christmas CD. But still I think the Choral version is the right one, and I'm working to finally render it to a more believable version thanks to technology improvement...

    A first work-in-progress:

The orchestra is a 100% GPO + Stradivari ad Gofriller
    the Choir is EWQLSC
the host is VSL MIR PRO24

What a wonderful multifaceted gift, Fabio - first the new software that Santa Claus brought to you, now the gift of your new recording which you're giving to us. It's a superb arrangement, and sounds really great. Thank you so much - and a wonderful new year to you, Fabio!

Thank YOU all for listening and posting.

The arrangement had the intention of following in some way the text:
    - some decoration and happiness for "deck the halls" and "to be jolly".
    - blazing chimes and harp arpeggios, for "blazing Yule" ad "strike the Harp"and the chromatic scales "following in merry measures"
    - a fugue for the "old year passes" and "hail the new"

And in every section a bit of America and a bit of Christmas, in the harmony and the orchestration... in my mind the merry cinematic Christmas of a thousand movies and songs was reverberating in merry memories, and merging in this little musical tribute.
