2013 10th Annual Garritan Community Christmas

Jack Cannon already knows what he is doing for next year's project,,,
    so let's start now
come one come all, pick your tune but promise to get it in on time,
deadline is October 31st. Same rules as past years. Let's make the 10th year a Duesy!

Justin Phillips from Make Music has asked me to pump up the volume and ask for more songs made with notation,
Finale especially, but anyway we make the music is great as long as it uses only Garritan sample library sounds and has the Christmas spirit! Using real voices is acceptable too, but real instruments are frowned upon. This is a great opportunity to show the world how great Garritan libraries are.

    Hi Dan.

Please enroll me for "Silent Night". I will make the arrangement using Finale and of course some of the Garritan libraries.

    Happy holiday season to everyone.

    Hello Dan,

I'm pleased that our special Christmas tradition is continuing.

Please add me for 'Hark The Herald Angels Sing'.

    Thanks.

Oh my! The earliest start ever for the Christmas CD! Thank you Jack for getting things started and prompting Dan to start the new thread!

The request for more Finale/notation projects doesn't surprise me, I anticipated that - So, maybe that's narrowing down the chances of us DAW software users to have our projects included, but of course I'll still be working on a submission - It's too much fun to be working on Christmas music in the middle of summer!

I would like to do a peppy arrangement of:

"We Wish You a Merry Christmas."

Thank you Dan, Jack, and Justin for letting us know already that the Garritan Christmas tradition will definitely be carried on!

    Hi all,

Definitely create in whatever method you use Garritan in (be that a DAW or any notation software)! The album will continue as it has.

We have for the past few years released a holiday pack of sheetmusic as well, and I thought it might be cool to include some community pieces there as well if anyone wants to:
